Yesterday I was honored to present to Retired NYPD Officer Joe Lutriario, the 2012 speaker for the Healing Field, a check for $2500 to help repair his house after it was completely devastated in Hurricane Sandy and looted by thieves. Joe was surprised and said he felt very blessed to have such a great family in Arizona. The money was raised for the POSAOUTREACH 907 fund through individual donations, fundraisers, the Valley of the Sun Exchange Foundation and the Tempe Exchange Club. Joe as you can see by his bio below, spent weeks helping at ground zero, injured, after saving a children’s day care center and being buried under the rubble in the Towers.
