Last week we presented Kelly Wills and Tracy W. from PCIS in Scottsdale PD a check for $2085 for help with victims of child abuse. POSA raised $500 from donations and each of the other organizations matched this amount! Our community is wonderful!

12th Annual Scottsdale Exchange Club Officer and Firefighter of the Year Awards October 5, 2012
INVITATION to the Officer/Firefighter of Year Award’s Banquet 2012
On Friday, October 5, 2012, the Professional Exchange Club of Scottsdale, will present the 12th Annual Officer and Firefighter of the Year Awards Luncheon at the Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center, 7700 E. McCormick Pkwy, Scottsdale . Registration will begin at 11:30, followed by a sit-down lunch and awards program. POSA OUTREACH is an annual sponsor of this event. AZCOPS is also a new sponsor for the event this year!
Our award recipients will be from the Scottsdale Police Department, Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department, Department of Public Safety, and the Scottsdale Fire Department. Recipients are hand selected by their Department Heads and will receive recognition in the form of a specially created plague and an honorary medallion.
The Scottsdale Exchange Club is a local chapter of the National Exchange Club. Our programs of service to our community include Americanism projects, youth programs, child abuse prevention projects, and other community service such as this recognition of our outstanding local crime and fire prevention individuals.
Lunch and program is $30.00. Checks should be made payable to the Professional Exchange Club of Scottsdale.
